About

Infomnis Rasche is run by Dr. Axel Rasche.

Since 16 years I work with different data in the areas of health, defence, marketing and more. A broad education started with mathematics at the ETH Zürich with data mining, stochastics and decision analysis as well as at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics plus Freie Universität Berlin modelling biologic processes and identification of these processes in extensive measurement data. Comparison of different methods were performed between machine learning, information theory and statistical approaches, new methods were developed and disseminated in workshops.

Since 9 years I have experience in information security of organissations up to 1000 persons in digital and non-digital areas. Information security can only be achieved with integrative actions over different business processes in an organisation. The security demand rises with newest online technologies and can be covered for example by ISO standard 27001. With partners a cloud project has been developed and realised.

Qualifications:

  • IT-Security officer, TÜV Rheinland
  • Dr. rer. nat., Freie Universität Berlin, PhD in bioinformatics
  • Dipl. Math. ETH, Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich, diploma in mathematics (äquivalent zu einem MSc ETH)

Informatio means ‘representation’ or ‘conception’ on latin. Amnes means ‘river’ or ‘stream’ ‘Fluss’ and omnis means ‘everything’. Infomnis thus stand for information streams, which have become wider and stronger in our digital age. Our aim is to make these not only measurable, but also visible and usable.
